Textile Arts & Design: Summer Institute

This four-day summer institute will provide hands-on technical and applied skill instruction for current and future Middle and Senior Years teachers. Experienced human ecology teachers will demonstrate basic sewing principles with practical application to the Grades 5–12 classroom.

Date: Monday, August 20 to Thursday, August 23, 2018
Location: Gordon Bell High, 3 Borrowman Place (corner of Broadway and Maryland), Winnipeg, MB R3G 1M6

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Fee: Students* $40/participant** and Teachers $80/participant**

* Currently registered in Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences: Food Science and Human Nutritional Sciences; Faculty of Education: Major or Minor in Human Ecology; or Rady Faculty of Health Sciences: Family Social Sciences Program, Interdisciplinary Health Program.

** Registration fee is for four days, snacks, and learning materials.

additional fee of $10.00 per person.
